Terms of Use

1. The agreement

Aster is provided by TECHNINN SOLUTIONS BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ A.Ş., İnkılap Mah. Sokullu Cad. No:5 Ümraniye / İstanbul, Türkiye ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Aster you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). These terms add to the Standard EULA; where the two differ on a point the Standard EULA does not cover, these terms apply.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.

2. Who can use Aster

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian, who also agrees to these terms.

3. What Aster is, and what it is not

Aster is an intention and visualization practice: it helps you describe the life you want and listen to it as a story. It does not promise any outcome. It does not predict the future, change other people's feelings or decisions, or make money, health or relationship results happen.

Aster is not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a professional. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now. In the US you can call or text 988; in Türkiye, call 112.

4. Free features and Aster Pro

Boards, widgets, affirmation cards, your own voice recordings and the 369 ritual are free. Each iPhone can create one complete narrated story for free.

Aster Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered yearly (with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers) or monthly. There is no weekly plan. Pro includes a monthly allowance of new story minutes, which the app always shows; the allowance resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC), and unused minutes do not carry over. Replaying stories you already have is unlimited.

Stories you create stay on your phone and keep playing after your subscription ends.

5. Billing, renewal, trial and cancelling

• The price is shown in the app, in your currency, before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• A free trial becomes a paid yearly subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. We send a reminder 48 hours before it ends if notifications are on.
• To cancel, open Aster → Settings → Manage subscription, or iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
• If we change the price of a subscription, Apple informs you and, where required, asks for your consent before the new price applies.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory rights are not affected.

6. AI-generated content

Stories and affirmations are written by AI models from what you put on your board and are voiced by synthetic voices. They can be imperfect: inaccurate, repetitive, odd, or simply not what you hoped for. We filter requests and results for safety and may decline a request, but we cannot promise that every result is suitable for you. Use your judgement, and don't rely on generated content for decisions about your health, money or safety.

As between you and us, you keep the rights to what you write, and we pass to you whatever rights we have in the stories generated for you. You may keep, play and export them for your personal, non-commercial use. You give us permission to process your inputs only to provide the service, as the Privacy Policy describes.

7. Acceptable use

Please use Aster for your own practice. You agree not to:

• use Aster to target, monitor, pressure or try to control a specific person, or to create content about a real person without their consent;
• create content that is illegal, sexual content involving minors, hateful, threatening, or that encourages self-harm;
• upload images you have no right to use;
• get around the free story limit, the Pro allowance, App Attest or other protections, or send automated requests to our server;
• copy, resell or redistribute the app, its curated images, music or voices, or extract them for use outside Aster;
• reverse engineer the app or our server except where the law allows it.

We may refuse requests that break these rules and may suspend access to story creation in cases of abuse.

8. Our content

The app, its design, the curated images, the music beds and the narrator voices are owned by us or licensed to us. You may use them inside Aster, and as part of stories you export for personal use.

9. Availability and changes

Story creation depends on our server and on third-party AI providers, and may sometimes be slow or unavailable. We may change, add or remove features. If we ever stop offering story creation, the stories already on your phone will keep playing, and we will tell you in the app in advance where we can.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Aster is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of any kind and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from decisions you make based on generated content. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Aster in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using Aster at any time by deleting it; cancel your subscription separately as described in section 5. We may end or suspend your access to story creation if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and if a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app before it applies. Questions: support@techinn.solutions.
